DESCRIPTION AND USE
VariFilm 630 is a scale & corrosion inhibitor consisting of fifilm-forming actives, a cleaner, and a scale inhibitor. The advanced film-forming actives form a hydrophobic barrier on all surfaces, preventing scale and corrosion and is designed to be used in open and closed systems, cooling towers, evaporative condensers, evaporative coolers, semiopen-closed and closed heat exchanger systems.
With a single point of injection, the inhibitors used in the VariFilm 630 formulation protect the entire system through the adsorption of a monomolecular film. This film makes it possible to avoid any contact between water and the metal surfaces of the system, thus improving heat exchange. The scale inhibitor in VariFilm 630 boosts the solubility limits of salts, distorts the crystal lattice, and
prevents suspended material being re-deposited. Additionally, the cleaner in VariFilm 630 reduces the need to inject biocides into the systems and, in that way, protects the natural environment.
Application of VariFilm 630 reduces servicing times and product inventory with a single product solution and simplifies water treatment and program monitoring. VariFilm 630 is an effective alternative to traditional cooling tower treatments that is safe and phosphorus free, with low toxicity, and is easy to use and monitor.

FEED METHOD & DOSAGE
VariFilm 630 dosage varies depending on plant conditions. VariFilm 630 should be added by an automatic dosing system where the dosage is proportional to the make-up water and depends on the cycles of concentration. The dosage depends on many factors, such as concentration ratio, holding time index, thermal load, total alkalinity, carbonate hardness, and chloride content. The typical dosage is between 180 - 200 ppm, based on make-up water. VariFilm 630 should always be applied in its neat form. Dilution is not recommended as the product is a micro-emulsion.
